  Noteringar	MOZLEY Gordon Alfred Mozley, 65, of Van Vleck, died March 31, 2000 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. Mr. Mozley was born March 19, 1935 in Dove Creek, Colo. to Cleve and Edna Josephine Groves Mozley. He was a resident of Van Vleck the past 22 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was past President of Matagorda Co. Fire Fighters Association and is the current fire chief for Van Vleck Vol. Fire Dept. and has been since 1986. Survivors include: wife, Patricia Joan Mozley of Van Vleck; three daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa Cook and fiancee Les Lind of Grand Junction, Colo., Lesa Crowell and husband Darryl of Bay City and Chris Davis of Denver, Colo; by a son, Wally Hammer and Tara of Grand Junction, Colo.; sisters, Betty Jean Baldridge of Beaver, Ark. and Edna Josephine Kopun of Kodiak, Alaska; brother, George W. Mozley of Maysville, Okla. and Harry Keith Mozley of Kodiak, Alaska; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2000, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Steele officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Van Vleck.
