Ove's Vintage Sound & Electronics

Switched Tone Treble Boost

Article from PE electronics 1979

I have done my own PCB layout for this circuit and built in to my guitar. Maybe this kind of thing is already built in, in some of todays guitars but I was at least alone with it 1980.

Something all should have is the FET buffer. Look at the schematic at the bottom of this page. All of the problem a guitarmicrophone have, with long cables where capacitances loads the frequence responce down so that the sound gets dull, will disappear. Maybe this is all you need instead of the never ending changes of expensive micks to find the ultimate sound of yours. I hope the magazine Practical electronics thinks it is OK with this 26 year old revival.
Happy entertainment.
