I don't know anything about it execpt that I got it for free at an auction at ETA Chalmers University in Gothenburg. The sweep didn't work and no one was bidding. The auctioneer asked "Would any one want it?" I said Yes and then he pushed the hooter and the scope was mine :-).
I though of slaughtering the scope for all the good parts at first. There is plenty of tubes inside. But the scope was in such good condition so I gave it some faultfinding. The manual I found at a university. I pretty soon found that the sweep oscillator didn't work and that one triode of an ECC81 (12AT7) was cold. I switched to a new tube and now everything works perfect. I may do some more calibration later on if the time is there. For the moment I'm just happy to have a such old scope in such great condition. The CRT is very strong and have perfect focus. Very sharp and narrow presentation. So as usual a new equipment is taking up room in the basement....
Still, the scale illumination misses a working bulb, so the light is a bit weak, and the is no probes or probe converters. There is also not any powercord. I will let it be like this for now.
